Watercolors
Taxco,
Mexico
Taxco is an
incredibly picturesque town
nestled among the mountains
about one hundred and fifty
miles
south of Mexico
City. It is an old silver
mining town built along the
rim of the mountains as you
descend
into the center of
town.
There
are
tunnels under the plaza where
the wholesale silver shops can
be found. This plaza has one of
the most beautiful Spanish
Colonial churches in Mexico,
Santa Prisca by name. All of the
watercolors
inevitably include some part of
the church in their landscapes.
Along the cobble stone streets
Santa Prisca is there to welcome
you to TAXCO.
